This is the Badwater Basin, the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere at 272 feet below sea level. There is salt everywhere.
The Bad water Basin extends for miles. From a distance, the salt lying on top of the water looks like snow.(R) Telescope Peak rises 11,300 feet above the salt lake.
There is a beauty in the west that we have really come to love and appreciate. We love to get out and view our Lord's majestic creation.
