1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your
care upon him; for he careth for you.
The Lord impressed this scripture
upon my heart several times this week, in the midst of a very difficult and
trying situation. I prayed, "Lord, here is the situation, I am casting it all on
you." Already, enough has happened to let me know that He is in total and
absolute control.
Whatever our problem, He is
waiting to hear from us.
Psalms 34:15 The eyes
of the LORD [are] upon the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their
cry.
Philippians 4:6 Be
careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto
God.
He is constantly abiding with us.
We need not fear the evil realm.
Hebrews 13:5 [Let
your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things
as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake
thee.
6 So that we may boldly say,
The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto
me.

A little girl was sitting on her
grandfather's lap as he read her a bedtime story. From time to time, she would
take her eyes off the book and reach up to touch his wrinkled cheek. She was
alternately stroking her own cheek, then his again. Finally she spoke up,
"Grandpa, did God make you?"
"Yes, sweetheart," he answered,
"God made me a long time ago."
"Oh," she paused, "Grandpa, did God make me too?" "Yes, indeed, honey," he said, "God made you just a little while ago." Feeling their respective faces again, she observed, "God's getting better at it, isn't he?" Keep Looking Up! Don & Marie Spooner About Him!
