Luke 11:2 And he said unto
them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will
be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
'Matthew
6:13' ..... For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
for ever. Amen. The Lord left us this
outline for prayer and for living. The prayer begins by recognizing
the exalted position of our Creator; He is in heaven. His name
is above all. It ends by ascribing to Him, the kingdom, the power and the glory.
It doesn't leave a lot of room for
our own agenda, does it?
Living for God is much
easier when we realize our position in Him. He is the Father, we are the
children. He is the King (1 Timothy 1:17 ), to whom every knee will
bow (Isaiah 45:23; Romans 14:11; Phillippians 2:10) , we are His
subjects. He is all powerful, we are powerless without Him. He is the Savior
(Isaiah 12:2), we cannot save ourselves.
All that we do, we do to
glorify Him (1 Corinthians 10:31; Colossians 3:17). We live in perpetual
praise and thanksgiving ( Ephesians 5:20), We walk before Him as truthfully
as we can ( 1John 3:18 ).
We'll soon be at His throne
uttering endless praise and adoration for all He has done for us
.
Revelation 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for
thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were
created.

Humor
An irritated father
complained to his golf buddy.
"When I was a kid, my parents sent me to my room without supper if I misbehaved. But my son has his own color TV, telephone, computer, every computer game and CD player in his room!" "So how do you handle it?" his friend asked. "I send him to MY room!" Keep Looking Up! Don & Marie Spooner About Him!
