"Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." Heb. 11:1 NASV
Immediately preceding the great faith chapter of Heb. 11, the writer make the statement that, "The just shall live by faith."
- Not by sight, not by circumstance, but by faith.
- Note the keywords, "Assurance" and "Conviction." (substance and evidence KJV)
- The Christian has the assurance of the things he asks for and the conviction that he will receive that which he needs.
- We also rest in the assurance of God's Word and are convinced that what God has said will come to pass.
Are you praying for a loved one, for healing, for God's Kingdom to be advanced?
By faith, be assured and convinced and you will receive that which you do not yet see.
Thanks and God Bless,
Don & Marie Spooner
