Romans 12:1 ¶ I beseech you
therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living
sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable
service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. When we remember the mercy that
God showed to us in taking a body and bearing our sins on Calvary (I Timothy
3:16; I Peter 2:24, Acts 20:28; Psalms 74:2), our struggle against sin and this
world is much easier.
We present our bodies to Him
willingly. Because of His mercy, we are new creatures in Christ and we don't
think or react the way that we once did (II Corinthians 5:17). We have become
living espitles (II Corinthians 3:3) showing forth the love and mercy of our
Redeemer.
We submit our will to Him
gladly and find that the transforming power of His Spirit has changed us. We no
longer desire the things of this world that are contrary to His will (I John
2:15-17). We seek to please the One who bought us with the price of His own
blood (Zechariah 12:10;1 Corinthians 6:20; 7:23; I Peter 1:18-19). This is
our reasonabe service, and we offer it
gladly.

About-Him
We have changed to a new and
bigger server and things aren't going too smoothly. Some of our pages aren't
coming up as they should. Another week or so and things should be much better.
We were very encouraged by the
number of emails we received last week offering words of encouragement.
Thank you, it means a lot.

The young husband was a henpecked and he was going to a psychiatrist about the problem. The doctor told him, "You don't have to let your wife bully you! Go home and show her you're the boss!" They young man got home, slammed the door, shook his fist in his wife's face, and growled, "From now on, you're taking orders from ME! When I get home from work, I want my supper ON the table. I want you go right NOW and lay out my clothes. I'm going out with the boys. And YOU'RE going to stay home where you belong. And
another thing, you know who's going to tie my tie?"
His wife replied calmly, "The undertaker?" Keep Looking Up! Don & Marie Spooner About Him! Ministries Your thoughts and Inquiries Contact@about-him.com Subscribe to this devotional? Subscribe@about-him.com Use your refresh button to see more banners --Add these banners to your website
