Bow Now, Rather Than Later!
  Psalms 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

Hosea 8 tells of how both Israel and Samaria had turned to their own pursuits and had forsaken the Lord. They had set up kings and princes that did not meet the Lord's approval and were consumed by the gold and treasure that they had amassed. Worst of all they had turned to idol gods. The Lord's answer was that they had sown to the wind and would reap the whirlwind (Ho. 8:7). The whirlwind being total destruction by the Assyrian armies.

Is America any different than Israel and Samaria?. I think not! President Obama declared that America was not a Christian nation. I'm sure that God took note of that. Presently Russia, China and N. Korea have missiles pointed our way.

I'm sure that God takes note of women marching in the streets demanding total and unrestricted abortion as well as the politicians who are looking for their vote. He also is moved by the millions of fetus' who were not given the chance to breath and many who were killed after they had been born. I believe that their souls cry out for retribution.

On the political scene we may or may not agree with all that President Trump says and does but we need to remember the words of Daniel 2:20-21.

Daniel 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:
21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

Like our president or not, It is our duty and obligation to pray for him and others in authority that they be given godly wisdom to deal with the complex problems facing this world today.

Most of all we've read the back of the book. We know that a King has been set on God's Holy hill who was anointed by God who will solve all of the world's ills. He will destroy the wicked and break them with a rod of iron. The prudent are instructed to:

Psalms 2:10 ¶ Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

The day is coming that all men will bow and cry out for the rocks and mountains to fall and hide them from the face of the Lord Jesus Christ. The high and mighty as well as the common man on the street.

Revelation 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Do you want to miss all of this? Then cry out to Him today while He is still on the throne of mercy, rather than the throne of judgment. His ear is ever inclined to hear our simple cry.

“You say, 'If I had a little more, I should be very satisfied.' You make a mistake. If you are not content with what you have, you would not be satisfied if it were doubled.” - Charles Spurgeon Insert Humor
