The Battle is the Lord's
Roman 1:16 ¶ For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

It is very easy to get angry and confused by what we see happening all around us. Such as, school and other shootings by mere boys acting under the influence of Satan. In our anger and frustration it's easy to get caught up in the political and social arguments that go nowhere. The powers of hell rejoice when Christian argue with each other and we forget that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]- Eph.6:12.

Our primary job as Christians is to preach the gospel to every creature (Mk. 16:15-18) and promote, first and foremost the Kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Zerubbabel was facing overwhelming odds as he was rebuilding the temple of the Lord.

Zechariah 4:6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

1Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

We worry about America being great again; It won't come by political action or by force of arms. But it can become a spiritual force when we as the people called by God's name humble ourselves, praying and seeking God's face as we turn from our wicked ways. Then God has promised to forgive our sin and heal our land and what a glorious land it can be - (2Ch 7:14).

Jesus told us what conditions would be in the last days: wars, famine and earthquakes. So we need not be surprised if suddenly an H-bomb drops in our midst and disrupts all our plans for prosperity.

Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these [are] the beginnings of sorrows.

We need not be discouraged when folks don't hear us because we have been warned that, "In the last days there would be scoffers walking after their own lusts," - (2 Peter 3:3).

The apostle Paul gave us a vivid description of conditions in these last days.

In 2 Timothy 3:1-5 - “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.....”

So rather than be discouraged, let us do our part as we focus on the cross of Christ and His saving power. It's not our battle. It's His.

Song: I'm Looking For Jesus

Somebody Has Said
“The Apocalypse (the unveiling of the end times) speaks powerfully of trouble ahead with storm warnings that carry a booming jolt of truth. The warning is clear: prepare to meet thy God — followed by the voice of the gentle Shepherd — ‘Come.’” - Billy Graham
